Feed your mind, body, and soul with dance

When I learned that my hubby was going to an all day conference one Saturday the first thing I did was call up one of my girlfriends to see if she was available to hang, and luckily for me, she was! I work downtown so I don’t usually find myself in Toronto on the weekends, but I saw a new side of Toronto that I don’t usually get to see as I’m usually only rushing to work and rushing home from work. Quick and healthy pita pizza

Do you ever have one of those work days where most of your hours are occupied by meetings but you know you have to update that presentation and send it to your boss by end of day. So you work through lunch and every single minute between meetings just to get that presentation in on time. You then dash out of the office and run (because you left too late to walk) a block to the closest subway station just to catch your train home. Wow. I feel exhausted just writing that. “Time and tide wait for no (wo)man”

Note: I added the “wo”. But have you ever heard of this quote before? The origins of it are uncertain but in my research I found that the earliest record of it is from St. Marher, 1225, “And te tide and te time þat tu iboren were, schal beon iblescet” which essentially means that no one has the power to stop time making time one of the most valuable things in the world.
